We produce a small range of chutneys, pickles and jams, including tomato chutney, sweet chilli sauce, pesto, cucumber pickle and salad dressing along with seasonal jams and cordials.
Where possible we use our own produce and everything is made carefully in small batches. We grow large crops of tomatoes and chillies which we freeze and use to make our tomato chutney and sweet chilli sauces throughout the year. Usually we have enough to keep us going until the next crop is available. We use our own cucumbers and beetroot in the summer for the pickles. The elderflower cordial is made in those short weeks in May when the elderflowers are on the trees. We don't grow enough fruit for our jams yet so we buy in fruit from Sunnyside fruit farm in Rathcormac. Our dressings are made with Mani extra virgin olive oil while the pestos are made with our own herbs and the best parmesan . If we have a glut of something in the garden we make special seasonal sauces and chutneys.
